These are the top four boats in each class from the Junior Olympic Qualifier in Golden, Colorado. The alternates are the kids that placed 5th in each class and are eligible to compete if a boat ahead of 5th decides they can not attend. All have accepted the ability to compete in the Junior Olympics in South Bend, Indiana this July.
There was high water (400CFS) on the Golden Whitewater Course proving difficult to navigate for many. The slalom course was set to represent South Bend allowing the kids to make very difficult hole moves, difficult dive gates, and very fast offsets. The Colorado Front Range Paddlers are well prepared and excited for South Bend this July.
