Thank you for your support over the last twenty plus years as we managed MWP while training and racing at Olympic whitewater slalom around the world.  Our paddling gear business has ebbed and flowed over the years, and it has always been satisfying helping you find the very best paddling gear for having fun on the river. 

 

MWP gear is performance tested by river experts to stand up to the high demands put on it by people who paddle whitewater year-round, in any weather.  Ask if you are interested in specific whitewater paddling gear; if we don't have it, we can get it.  Offering a full range of whitewater designs from renowned composite builders like Galasport, Vajda, Caiman, and Double Dutch, we custom fit the right boat design to your body size and skills.  For those on a budget, starting out racing, or just looking to get into a light-weight boat, we carry used slalom canoes and kayaks on consignment.  We sell Galasport and Mitchell canoe and kayak paddles, custom sized and assembled to your specifications.  MWP also features Snap Dragon sprayskirts, Wild-Water helmets, whitewater paddling gear, and custom outfitting and repair materials! For UPS shipping we need a deliverable street address. PO Box works only for Parcel Post and Priority Mail.  Payment can be made by check, money order, or Pay Pal in U.S. dollars.  We now accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.  Returned checks are charged $20. each.  Please call (301) 229-2201 between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM on weekdays with questions. Three-day, two-day, and next-day air services are also available at increased cost for faster shipment to distant locations. We can also ship COD at an additional charge of $8.50 per package.  Please include 5% Sales Tax for Maryland residents.  Assembled kayak paddles are UPS oversize, and ship at the 30 pound rate.  Canoe paddles 60 inches or longer incur an “additional handling” charge of $6.

 

Boats and gear can often be delivered from Bethesda to races or other events on the east coast, or sent via a third party to a prearranged meeting place.  When ordering, please give size desired, chest, arm, and waist measurements for garments, color preference and second choice. Tell us if we can substitute colors to speed your order, plus any other necessary details. If you are not sure of anything, give us a call. We will do our best to make sure that you get the gear that will do the job for you!

 

GUARANTEE: We warrant all items we sell to be free of defects in materials or workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. If you are not satisfied, please return the item to us prepaid, with a brief explanation of the problem. We will inspect the product, and repair it, refund your money or exchange the item, as you wish. We reserve the right to refuse to replace items which have been abused or worn out. This is the exclusive remedy for any breach of contract, and is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied.

 

RETURN POLICY: We want you to be satisfied. We are always happy to exchange items for another size or color, and we will do our best to solve any problems you may encounter. If you are not satisfied with any item purchased from us, please return the item to us. Enclose a note explaining the problem, and whether you want a replacement, exchange, or refund, it's up to you. Used or defective products are covered under the terms of our guarantee.
